Dear Citizens Against Charlie Teo,
I was provided a link to your website by a former staff member of Omniscient Neurotechnology. Reading the content of the website I was shaken to my very core as I myself have had a traumatic life changing experience working with Dr Charlie Teo and Dr Mike Sughrue.
It didn’t surprise me that Mike was fronting a company that was founded by Charlie, Mike and Charlie were extremely close and Mike certainly traded off Charlie’s reputation to build his own.
Mike was acutely aware of Charlie’s behaviour, encouraged Charlie’s behaviour and even participated himself. Mike has known this whole time that Charlie is a predator and has kept quiet. Mike should have taken action to protect us and all the women around Charlie instead he has sat on his hands, stayed quiet and tried to protect himself and his income.
Mike would regularly laugh and Charlie’s inappropriate comments and the more vulgar they were the harder Mike would laugh. It was like what I would expect from a teenage boy now grown man and certainly not from someone in a respectable profession. It was more than just laughing at Charlie, Mike actually encouraged Charlie and would egg him on, almost like he wanted to make things as awkward and uncomfortable as possible for everyone else.Mike also made everyone extremely uncomfortable, sometimes more so than Charlie, after a while he would start making his own highly inappropriate sexual comments, we were all expected to laugh them off and were even encouraged to just ignore them by other Mike and Charlie enablers.
He made comments to me and my friends more than once. I remember him trying to ask us about our underwear, ask us if we were sexual active, questions that are completely inappropriate in the workplace.
What made me most uncomfortable was the leering, Mike would just stare at you like in a haze with an odd smile on his face. It was the absolute worst thing as you could only imagine what was going through his mind, but given his comments it isn’t hard to work out.
He tries so hard to cover up who he really is. He plays the role of the autistic genius and uses this to get away with everything he does. Deep down he knows exactly what he is doing, he is a very calculated individual which makes his conduct so much worse. He shouldn’t be profiting from working with Charlie and covering up his conduct for so many years.I deeply appreciate everything that you are doing in order to get the message out there about Charlie, Mike and the company they are now running. They should not be able to profit so significantly whilst leaving a wake of devastation behind them.
I have provided contact details at the bottom of this email and I am happy to speak to any journalists or do any interviews related to this. I’m sure I could speak to others who were around Charlie and Mike who would be willing to speak out.
I also still have messages between the girls and some messages from Mike and Charlie I would be happy to share with the media.
